Each compartment can hold a different entree or side dish. The bottom compartment is the largest. The material of the thermos is stainless steel. It can hold hot and cold items. This is perfect for holding soups, without leaking. It comes inside of an insulated felt bag, that has a handle on the top for carrying it. Also included, is a detachable long strap, to hook onto the felt bag. Inside the side sleeve of the felt bag, is a pink utensils box that contains a fork and a spoon. Both the fork and spoon are sturdy and of high quality. The included spoon is deep enough to be used for eating soup. This stackable bento box thermos is perfect for carrying meals on the go. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well insulated, light weight, easy to carry *by A***B on July 7, 2019* Five stars for functionality, I do wish the strap matched the containers better but just a personal preference. The largest compartment on bottom holds about 2c liquid. The two middle compartments each hold 1c and the top compartment is best for nuts or cheese cubes. Something small. The top and middle compartments all have a plug at the bottom. I'm assuming hot/cool water could be added to help with insulation but I have not found it necessary as of yet. I usually put my hot food on bottom, then room temp foods, then cold food and it has worked great. The only reason for four stars is the felt on the case exterior.
