They seem sturdy enough. The bell on the snuffer came separate from its handle. But that was easily remedied and held secure with a small pliers. The simple design is also a good addition. Very important is the angle of the trimmer, allowing me to reach into a long candle jar without awkwardness. The blades are sharp.The box: I consider this a bonus as the equipment came with a wooden box with metal hinges and metal snap. (I had only been looking for the equipment) Good enough engraving on the top. Good size too. Holds the equipment, plus tea candles, water to fill my diffuser and the essential oil of the month.However, the snap on the box was shaky from day 1. (See pictures and video) it doesn't line up with the button and it feels wobbly, as if too much strain will cause it to break. I treat it very delicately.Now, I was really looking for candle equipment so the box was an addition. The size is fairly large (10 inches wide, 6.5 inches deep, and 4.5 inches tall) so there is ample space for storage of small candles in addition to storing the accessories.The box appears to be made out of bamboo, is a light unfinished type color, and seems to be sturdy and well made. The color in the pictures is very accurate in comparison to the actual color.
