However, Rat Sort is expensive and you would have to do a large amount of product with water to even try the idea. The dab in cotton ball in a particular area is the best method if you can pinpoint the source of the smell. **Q: I seen possum sneaking outside on driveway loves to sleep recycle bin and does this will help possum to smell and get rid itself ?** A: Personally, I think this product is best used as a regular household air freshner. It has a very pleasant citrus scent, but does nothing to cover up the foul odor of rodents.
