The pumps are super cheap invest in one or buy a helium tank from party stores. **Q: What are the glue dots for and how do you use them?** A: The glor dots are to stick the balloon to the plastic strip. The holes in the strip do t hold the balloons in very well. I also found the glue dots didnt hold well either. If you have not purchased this kit yet, I recommend the one that a keyhole shape opening in the plastic strip. It allows the balloon stem to go thru and slide into hook in the narrow strip. It holds nicely and glue dots are not really needed. **Q: How do you stick on a wall?** A: There were nails holes already in the wall so we used those and wired the point of the arch to that **Q: My son’s actual birthday and his party are 6 days apart. This kit was an amazing deal for the price. I've heard of people paying $200+ for a balloon arch so you can't go wrong with the price of this product. It did take me quite a while to put together, but any balloon arch would. The balloon tape and glue dots worked really well. Only 1 balloon in my whole package had a small hole. The rest of the balloons were perfect. I would highly recommend this product for the price! Some tips on how I put mine together: 1. I used a balloon pump to pump the balloons up. They're like $3-4 at Target. They also sell electric ones, but they are a little bit more expensive. A balloon pump of some kind is an essential! 2. I did about 2-3 balloons in sections and then skipped several holes on the balloon tape so I could fill in gaps later using the glue dots. 3. I tried to vary the colors I was using so no specific pattern showed up. 4. I was sure to leave extra tape at the beginning and end for hanging it up. 5. I saved several big and small balloons to fill in holes to make it look fuller. I waited until we hung it up to fill in the holes. 6.
