Description                                                    HylaGroom ShampooSoap-Free HypoallergenicHylaGroom Shampoo is a soap-free hypoallergenic shampoo with optimal pH balance and Ceramide III. Formulated with emollients for moisturizing the skin, proteins for conditioning the skin and essential fatty acids to nourish the skin and help control flaking and scaling. HylaGroom is recommended for cleansing of normal, dry and/or sensitive skins of dogs, cats and horses.  Ceramide III helps support healthy skin by reducing transepidermal water loss, and helping restore the lipid barrier. The skin lipid barrier becomes disrupted by environmental stress (allergic response, low humidity), genetics and the normal aging process. When the skin barrier is disrupted, there is an increase in water loss and lipid structure damage. There is also increased allergen penetration and sensitivity. Ceramide III is the most advanced ceramide available and is a complete skin identical ceramide.Prevents water from escaping the epidermis, preventing transepidermal water lossRestores the and reinforces the skin's natural protective lipid barrierPrevents the absorption of harmful proteins and allergens thus decreasing sensitivity and the recurrence of skin infectionsDirections Wet coat thoroughly with water. Apply and lather HylaGroom Shampoo over the entire body, allowing 5 to 10 minutes of contact time. Rinse completely with water and repeat. For best results, use weekly or as directed by your veterinarian.
