Bought this wanting a very lightweight gi for warmer temperatures, as I overheat very easily, and definitely meets the brief. So do expect the lightest imaginable judo gi material, I've never seen one lighter (without being karate type). That being said, the jacket has held up perfectly well to the usual stresses at training, and I'm relatively heavy. I wouldn't be so confident with the trousers though, although they haven't torn, they're very thin - so be mindful of that in newaza for instanceTheres been some moderate and proportionate shrinkage after washing at 30c and line drying, nothing more than the usualLikely to buy again if I need another lightweight gi.
