You'll be adjusting them to get both kingpins to work together perfectly for a little bit but once you get it right its like no other truck; I kept the stock bushings BC there really good for bushings that come with trucks, there a small teenie bit on the hard side but perfect for any type of riding; there a lot more stable when made drop threw I probably brought them up to 25 30mph and I had to slow down BC I could feel the trucks wanting to buck and get speed wobbles so definitely not a downhill truck, but amazing for commuting maybe going to the mall cruising around town; good for crowded city streets BC of the turning radius; these trucks eat cracks like a monster BC it has twice the cushion (bushings; I was using 75mm 83a wheels though).Cons: it took me about 6hrs to adjust the baseplate so the bottom of the second "baseplate" didn't hit the deck (only BC it was dropthrew) and I could get the full turning potential out of the trucks, they add a little more weight BC its more material, You have to get flat top hardware and washers to mount any drop threw just a note I found that out the hard way now I have extra hardware which is never a bad thing; if your board doesn't have cutouts you wanna make sure your wheels will fit so in that case I would stay under 65mm.I just ended up buying a set of ronin trucks on eBay and have not regretted it; I used these trucks for about 5weeeks then tryed ronin's and there uncomparable, ronin's are another level of trucks; just a recommendation. I'drsonally recommend the 10" trucks because they are more versatile. **Q: Does this come with hardware?** A: Hello,No, these trucks do not come with hardware.Thank you! **Q: I got an old school board that i want to throw these trucks on. the board is 30 inch long and 10 wide. i have 1/4 inch risers. will these trucks work?** A: As long as you dont run too big of a wheel they should work perfectly fine. To test for wheel bite i usually put my board on carpet and do a hard lean on it and try to feel for gap or have someone help and see if theres some gap. If there is no gap you can either add more risers or buy harder bushings ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ there probably the best cruising trucks on the market *by A***X on February 28, 2014* The double kingpin design is unco parable to any other truck its all layer out for you its like having the turning radius of two trucks stacked up I haven't got to test them on the road yet BC its freezing here in Pennsylvania but the quality of the trucks is top knotch theres no burs from left over metal on the casting seams so you don't have to grind anything down to get optimal performance the bushings it comes with are about medium hardness so it you want to tighten them up to get a stiffer ride its an option, sure it adds more weight BC its more metal but i think its worth everything this truck offers, another thing people don't usuaually tell you and I haven't seen in any reviews is the double kingpin brings the hanger and wheels foward more than a regular truck so on certain drop threw deck's if you have say 75mm wheels you can hold the board straight up and the deck wont touch the ground BC of the offset which gives it a more gnarly (cool) look and feel, also on the bottom of the mounting plate its flat with a grid design and the snake logo embossed into it so it looks cleaner and more welcoming to put your foot on when its mounted on a drop threw which I found really cool. One more thing I would add is the double set of bushings acts like suspension but again this is all from just mouting them on a double drop deck to see the feel and it gives my board a very jelloy feel almost like its floating also very springy and responsive but the board I have has tons of flex and bows a lot &very smotthly,I would recommend these trucks to anyone who would want to spend the extra bones to get what I think is the best CRUISING TRUCK (I say it like that BC you DO NOT want to bomb a hill with these.. I sold longboards, but I never took longboarding seriously. Yeah, the gravity junkies were fun to watch, and it's fun and an okay way to get around if you don't have to go into areas with many pedestrians. But these trucks are amazing. It's one of those, "why didn't someone think of this sooner" products. I have a Santa Cruz longboard. It's large (10"x32"), but still shaped like an old school deck. It was fun, but not always the most practical. These trucks have made this my go to board. I can ride this board anywhere, and it's actually MORE maneuverable than my regular skateboard. ​One thing I learned is that if you have a more traditional shaped deck (where the wheels are under the deck), stick with the 9" trucks. The 10" trucks will give you wheel bite, no matter how hard you crank down on the trucks. I run 62mm wheels and 9-inch trucks and it's great.
