It is cool, comfortable and I feel amazing when I wear it. The dress can be dressed up with jewelry. I bought an 18w and except for the length fit well. I am a shrinking (used to be 5'3") heavy woman with a 30ish mind trapped in a 73 year old body. The dress is what is expected for the price. I do not think the material is linen, but seems to be cotton. I am uncomfortable in the heat and this dress did not feel like polyester on a hot day. I did not notice any threads hanging or uneven seams.
