Thankfully, I've yet needed to use them. Review: Perfect Jeep Renegade rescue devices! - These easily fit into the crowed trunk of my Jeep Renegade Trailhawk and recently proved themselves when I got stuck good and hard on a deep snowy road. Pulled these guys out and with just a couple tries got myself extracted. Used them a couple times on that road. At one point was struggling to move forward uphill with them so put them behind the tires instead to back up onto then launch forward and that worked. The orange straps are great for spotting and recovering the boards once they get buried. Carefully inspected them at home the next day and saw no signs of damage despite somewhat aggressive use.
