When it said "2 pack," I thought it just meant a pair of them.Installing them was pretty simple, it's just two screws per vertical piece, and then you add the horizontal arms with a steel pin and secure it with a a cotter pin. Everything is thick metal, and it doesn't look cheap or flimsy.But the proof is in the performance, and it is performing beautifully. I immediately put 150 board-feet of white oak and pine, which weighs approximately 600 lbs, and it held up perfectly (see picture). These will probably handle as much wood as you can stack in them.Overall, it's a great product. The racks freed up some valuable floor space. There were ZERO defects and, except for the drywall-type mounting screws included (sorry, but these thin screws don't inspire much confidence in their durability), I found the components to be good quality. The racks are holding up cherry wood planks that are very heavy 9-10 foot long and 10 inches wide by 1 inch plus thick, so the whole system is holding up well. I was looking to get all the kids’ hoverboards and charging cables off of the garage floor as it was a hazard! I saw these lumber racks and thought I would give it a try. They are very sturdy, which is something I needed for the weight of the hoverboards. They were super easy to install, just make sure to drill into the studs for max support. I found I can fit 2 hoverboards per shelf as the depth allowed this. Easily could hold more weight than these, but this is plenty for what I needed.
