Vise is backed by Wilton's lifetime warranty. Review: It slides and clamps pretty good. The lead screw handle is a bit short for my hands, but works ok. The grooved fixed jaw, will work on smaller round objects. A little bit of light oil here and there helps. The mounting slots line up with my drill press table, pretty much exact. The center guide for the sliding jaw is a great addition. Where the main screw goes through the main body, there's plenty of strength in the design. If the tommy bar/handle was 2 inches longer, I would have given 5 stars. The handle came apart in my hand, setting up this vise. I havent used it yet! Do I send it back or request a refund? I seen this as an opportunity to improve upon an inadequate design. Deduct 2 stars for that and 1 star for the main screw securing screw (sliding jaw) that keeps coming loose. I am not aware of any vises that will remain parallel if something is clamped off center and the sides of the piece being clamped are not parallel. This vise has a rod that run the length of the opening down the middle to help keep the movable jaw aligned.
