No smell or taste to the water. Tested the camping shower attachment. 20 pumps gives you around three whole minutes of water for a Navy shower. The state park campgrounds in the Rockies that are open in the winter usually don't have showers available then, so this will be a life saver in a winterized camper. Only a 2-3" wide pattern if held a couple feet above you, and not a forceful shower of course, but good enough. Follow the instructions and depressurize for travel or when changing temperature or dramatic altitude changes. I didn't, but ePrep Store promptly sent out a replacement part. Thanks!---No leaks, strong pump, and an easy way to carry clean water for a week. Also nice is this kit can double as a weak winter shower if you're in a tent or van / RV that's not four season capable.
