I like that you dont have to touch the thermometer to a surface to get a reading... as that can be somewhat unsanitary. I will say that I felt the temperature may have been reading colder by 1 degree (which standard error is pretty normal with all thermometers). I really liked that it has a setting to measure pets. That was definitely an added bonus!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great *by P***E on December 10, 2019* First thing you need to do is calibrate it, it's not hard but once you have that done, it's accurate. I tried it on all three settings, Body, Surface and Animal. In all cases, after calibrating, the temps were correct. My main use for this will be surface temps, but it'll be nice for the other two too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's OK *by L***T on September 22, 2019* I am using this thermometer to check temp of my dogs. I can't find anywhere in the manual where I need to direct the laser. If I take at the ear canal gives me readings totally different if I take it on the belly, for example. I suspect also the calibration is off.
