Aesthetically pleasing and the carrier is handy - can either hook to the trolly, handbag or belt as you go.Easy to stow away after use, great size bags and actually a nice colour. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The absolute best! *by V*** on Reviewed in Canada on 16 February 2022* I never knew how much difference a shopping bag could make until I bought these. Plastic shopping bags are now prohibited where I live and I dreaded the thought of having to buy non-single-use bags. Yes, we have the ones sold by the grocery stores, the ones that have the store's name emblazoned on them, but the handles are prone to breaking off and they can't be washed. Hello? What happens when something spills or an egg breaks in the bag? These are washable and seem *extremely* durable and very, very well-made. I *love* the colour, which is a bonus. The only drawback is that once they're out of their zippered carrier, the 'pod,' they're absolute hell to get back in. The solution is simple, though: We just tuck four bags into the fifth and Bob's your uncle. These seemed pricey until we actually started to use them. Now we find that every other carrying bag is beat hollow by these. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smart Purchase *by Z***0 on Reviewed in the United States on 23 October 2021* I've had these bags for around six months now, and I'm very pleased with the purchase. Firstly, the bags are easy to transport. I keep the pod in my vehicle (driver's door pocket is a great place, or anywhere that's easy to see/remember) and then put it in my tote bag as I get out of the car. Often I clip the pod to my shopping cart once I'm in the store. At checkout, the bags are easy to remove from the pod and though you have to shake them a time or two to get them opened up, they are very strong and hold more than you'd expect for their size. I once packed 10 soup cans, 4 large cans of tuna, 2 small boxes of corn bread mix, and a 4 lb. bag of brown sugar in one of the bags. Yes, it was heavy but the bag did just fine and never felt like it would tear or break. I've also had shampoo leak in one of the bags and have put all of them in the bed of a damp pickup, and in both instances, not had wetness seep through. While this might be a different story if I had put the bags directly in a puddle, or had a less viscous liquid (than shampoo) spill, I share to show that these are tough little bags. In addition, all of the bags have gone through the wash multiple times just fine. (I do air dry them.) I see these lasting quite some time. I'd definitely buy these bags again ( and sometimes kick myself for not getting the larger set, but didn't know at the time how they'd hold up), and I would recommend them to anyone looking to reduce bag waste.Update: I have now had these bags for just over a year and they are still holding up just fine. I washed all of them yesterday and inspected for holes and wear on the body and seams of each bag, and everything looks good. On my last trip to the store, I put two cantaloupes and a muskmelon in a single bag, no issues.
