NYX Professional Makeup High Definition Eye Shadow Base (x2), Eye shadow Primer Base, minimizes fall out, Long Lasting Formula

I’ve tried other eyeshadow primers with varying success but NYX is definitely my favourite. The wand makes application easy - don’t overdo it, you don’t need a thick layer. Let it dry for a couple of minutes before applying eyeshadow and it works really well. So glad I found it!

This is a huge improvement on my previous eyeshadow base/primer and really does keep your eyeshadow where it should be. It is a little hard to remove however so for that reason, only 4 stars. Definitely would buy it again though as it does what it should and is great value for money.

I often do 12 hour shifts and after a long day was finding my eyeshadow has ended up in clumps in the folds of my eyes. But this product has worked wonders, I apply a thin layer over my eyelids and allow to dry for a couple of minutes then apply eyeshadow as usual. This now holds for well over my busy 12 hour day. Very impressed with the product and would highly recommend.

Amazing! This will keep your eyeshadow on all day long. I was very impressed with how long my eye shadow had lasted and the tube lasts for a long time. It is a little tacky once applied but this helps your eye shadow to stick on. I haven’t test many eye primers but I think this one is pretty great.

Not as good as the elf one imo.

Never used before but now can’t understand why I never have! Great product, only downside is you have to run harder to take makeup off! Small price to pay…

The base itself was easy to apply, one brush load does both eyes but you have to keep alternating between the two of them to make sure it is even and not over-loaded. I didn't think it gave much coverage but I suppose that's not the point of this product, it's not something you could just pop on on a non-makeup day as it doesn't provide the coverage you would want and it is a bit sticky. The reason it is sticky is so that your eyeshadow will stick to it and stay in place. I found that it didn't work very well with my normal daytime eye makeup routine as it was too sticky and I couldn't blend it very well. I normally use a smash box cream to powder eyeliner and clean my brush out in the eye socket, that and a bit of mascara is enough for me during the day. Because this looked patchy and not well blended I decided to go for my nighttime look. This is Avon powder eyeshadows in green, grey and white highlighter with Avon eyeliner and Revitalash mascara. Again I found it harder to blend than I normally do but it has meant that I have got more on and it has produced a more dramatic smoky eye nighttime look. I don't think that it shows up very well in the photograph as it seems to have washed it out, it looks more dramatic in real life.I definitely like this base for a more dramatic look for going out but I don't think I'll use it for work, therefore have given it 4 stars.

This is the best primer I have bought. And I have paid a lot more for not a lot of product. My eyeshadow lasts perfectly all day.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt. Der Lidschatten hält darauf super. Selbst nach dem Duschen ist noch Lidschatten auf den Augen, so dass ich diesen manuell abschminken muss.

Funciona genial. Tanto el lápiz de ojos como la sombra se mantiene intacta todo el día. Adiós pliegues o que el lápiz se vaya escurriendo al párpado. Para mí es un imprescindible

Très facile à appliquer!Couleur neutre. Le fard à paupières tient très bien.Je recommande.

Parfait seul ou comme base de maquillage, pour illuminer la paupière et estomper les taches de pigmentation

Devo dire che la prima volta che ho usato questo primer sino rimasta molto soddisfatta in quanto l ombretto è rimasto perfetto e luminoso tutta la giornata, cioè 12 ore. E premetto che ho un età over 60 e senza primer l ombretto si fissa nelle pieghe della palpebra già da subito e dopo qualche ora è disfatto, invece con questo primer una meraviglia... Mai avrei pensato ad un risultato così buono ! Consiglio assolutamente questo prodotto e sui miei occhi sensibili non ha dato nessuna forma di reazione allergica.
