Overtime, the numerous tire rotations, brake changes, suspension or whatever work you are doing, will eventually break the lug nut to a point where the outer casing just spins around the inner steel. When this happens, you are screwed if you do not know what you are doing. Moreover, if this happens when you have a flat tire in the middle of know where. Lord have mercy.I found this out the hard way. So I decided to try these out for my 2015 Ford Mustang. These did the job for the price point and I am very pleased so far. The hex size is not OEM for my car. Be sure to tell your service adviser this otherwise they may begin to take these off with a 7/8" socket and strip your nut. This was the main reason why I gave it 4 stars.
