Review: A great product. - I am really happy that Arrowroot flour is something that we can purchase. It has helped me with my stomach. I use this every other day to keep things with my stomach happy. Thank you for this product very much. Price is decent but could the price be better not sure. I try to be gluten free but sometimes difficult. This product is gluten free and has helped me out substantially. I love this product as a thickener in soup, which I eat a lot of, noticing the difference in in inflammation but I will not say for sure if it is because of this product arrowroot, because I am not a doctor or a nutritionist. **Q: Is the arrowroot powered bleached, and if so, by what process?**
A: Hello Mary, Thank you for your patience. We were able to verify with our producers that our Arrowroot powders are not bleached. Hope that helps!Best,---Alex at Anthony's

**Q: Can I make deodorant with this arrowroot?**
A: Yes.  I use it along with baking soda, coconut oil, and shea butter to make mine.  The arrowroot helps keep the deodorant solid.  Too much baking soda causes irritation so I used arrowroot as a substitute.

**Q: What is the difference between arrowroot powder and arrowroot flour?**
A: The pat answer is that flour is finer than powder.  But I have tried both arrowroot powder and flour (from several makers) and can tell no difference between the two.  You will notice the difference when dealing with coconut, the flour is very fine while the powder is course like table salt.

**Q: Is this a product that can be used alone to replace wheat flour in recipes or must there be something else added**
A: As a direct replacement for wheat flour, we recommend using almond flour or coconut flour - both of which are available from Anthony's. Arrowroot flour is more often used as a thickening agent for stews, baking recipes, and more!Best, Anthony's Staff
