It goes on smoothly and is rich in color. It is a little thick and I use thin rubber gloves to apply it because it does stain the hands (but does wash off with soap and water). Let's say this; my legs look MUCH better WITH the product than without. It definitely hides some of the imperfections. It is not perfect and does not hide everything, but like I said, legs look better with the product than without. I have not used the product on any other area than the legs.
