Whether the color will bleed in the wash is yet to be determined. I don't think the manufacturer wants you to wash it often, if at all; they recommend that you cover it with a plastic tablecloth protector and use placemats. I dislike plastic table covers, so I won't do that. The material is oddly coarse and rough. I wasn't expecting percale cotton or damask, but this feels like a cheap fabric. The design is printed on one side only. It is clear that the tablecloth, if you do wash it, needs to be lightly ironed. However, it is so darned pretty that I don't much care. Between the beautiful wave print and the deep, rich blue, I'm pretty happy with this. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great coastal contemporary design, medium weight cloth, fades with 1st cold water wash. *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2019* Cloth is a decent weight and hangs well. The design is one side only and the backing is white.
