I don't think the silicone will last very long before the port covers will tear off. I am gentle with them but they are just really thin. The built in screen protector is loose but not too bad, I can I remove the clear plastic get a separate screen protector if it becomes too much of a problem. At first glance, the color was definitely appealing. So, I looked at the product details and found that this case does come in a variety of vibrant colors. Another feature that struck my interest is that there were only a few parts and easy to assemble. However, the one thing that I am concerned with is the protective screen. The screen is certainly durable, but it is a bit cloudy and the stand is hard to clip back on. Although, these issues exist, this Defender Shockproof Survivor Military Duty Hybrid Hard Case is equipped to protect. The case is soft and easy to grip, which means it's slip proof. He is six years old and is very rough on electronics. So, I was looking for something durable and lightweight and I found it. The silicone material provides comfort for gripping and of course doubles as a shock ansorber which is needed. It has a nice little stand attched to the back which I find helpful for watching movies so you don't have to hold it the whole time. It has little flaps that cover like the charging hole to give added protection against dirt and liquid. I also really like the colors.
