It works faster on the pits (the indented acne scars) and the ice pick acne scars. I've been using it 2 weeks and those are almost healed completely.BETTER ALTERNATIVE to LASER RESURFACING, CHEMICAL PEELS ETC: I was going to get laser resurfacing or a chemical peel to get rid of the scars and hyper pigmentation.... but guess what's a common side effect of those treatments - hyper pigmentation and possibly even more scarring (your face is trying to heal from a trauma, there's no guarantee that your face will heal from it being re-traumatized in a different way, even though it does work on "some" people.) I did not want to take the risk of scarring my skin worse with these scar-removing treatments. I am so glad I used this instead! No side effects, no harm to my skin, and my scars are raised back to normal! What a relief. And saved $ and pain and time.I have dry, sensitive, acne prone skin - this did not break me out at all. (Note you are not supposed to use the disc on any active wound - so no use on an active zit)It is speeding up the fading of the dark spots, but only by accelerating whatever the fade cream does by a little bit. This shaves maybe a few weeks off a few months of the dark spot fade process.It takes an extra few minutes at the end of my PM face washing, moisturizing ritual to put the discs in place after washing and drying them, and then taping them with the tape I cut into pieces in 1 go (so I don't have to cut tape every night).Definitely worth it to get rid of the pits and ice picks and speed up the healing time of the dark spots.
