If they shrink after washing, which cotton does there might be an issue. So washability is a concern. They are thin, which is what I wanted to throw under jeans and leggings but not add bulk. the top will be great for layering with a sweater and jacket. The sleeves are a good length, even if they shrink up a little. 5’11” and the lengths are good. They should provide adequate layer of warmth for daily stuff: Going to work, evening walk, but if I were going to get out on the tractor in a snowstorm, I would be wearing these, leggings and snow pants or carharts. I live in Alaska we use thinner layers and remove as needed..
