However, it did not turn out to be cheaper and it is really messy and appears to treat less area. It's a kind of charcoal and it gets everywhere. It didn't go as far as the tablets which were only slightly more expensive. It does work with pretreatment on the lawn but doesn't really help with pre-existing burnt patches.
