The material was satin and very nice. You need to have a petticoat under it to give it a little more fullness. The lace-up back ensures that it fits any size. We brought it to a seamstress that added straps, hemmed it and added a snap in the back. The alterations cost as much as the dress itself, but she still paid way less than her girlfriend's paid for their dresses bought at boutiques. the pockets were big and held a lot without looking bulky. On prom night, she had her phone, phone charger, glasses, and her Vera Bradley ID case with $ and her license in her pockets and no one was the wiser! She received many, many compliments on the dress! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality Satin Fabric *by L***P on May 21, 2019* My daughter chose and picked this dress for her 2019 Jr Prom in royal blue. It’s from China so it arrived in about 3-4 weeks and was earlier than expected. We chose to have more of a custom fit so we measured and sent in the measurements. When arrived this gorgeous dress was folded in a bag with many wrinkles. However, I have a really nice iron so I pressed all the wrinkles out using Saran Wrap on top to protect the dress. We continued to look at the dress and it was well made with quality fabric. The dress is lined, with bra attached, two pockets with sequins on both pockets and is sixty one inches long to the floor.After trying the dress on, my daughter felt like she wanted some sequins straps, sequins belt and sparkle blue netting train added. We reached out to her aunt who is a seamstress and she bumped the dress up to more of a richness and upscale. This dress is so beautiful, if purchased from a bridle shop it wouldn’t be of this quality. I recommend this dress to anyone who wants to look gorgeous for their wedding, Prom, anniversary and special day. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Okay dress, good length. *by C***N on May 1, 2018* Lovely dress but the back was a pain to lace up.
