He loves his giant bead maze, so I figured this would be a great way to introduce counting. I looked at the toys that have removable beads for counting, but I just KNOW he’ll lose those!! The regular straight abacuses look more simple, but I figured this would help with adding and subtracting someday! He loves counting the beads as he pushes them around the arch. Also great for teaching colors and working on numbers/colors vocabulary. As with all other Melissa & Doug toys, this is built really well and is a nice compact size. Very space saving compared to other abacuses. Highly recommend this for all ages!
