Review: Low amperage draw and moves lots of air without much noise. - using this with a temp sensor to keep a inverter and Lithium battery compartment cooled. I'm pulling air from a AC area and forcing into a compartment below. I was concerned about volume of air and noise level. The amount of air is incredible and it's louder than what I had in it but not really that bad. It's a thicker fan so I guess how they get the CFM that I needed. I've ordered a second one along with the duct work w flange. Also it only pulls 1 amp. It's under the bed and if it's quite in RV you can hear it but it won't be enough to cause a issue. I comes with 4 wires on a connection that I was able to pop out the red and black and slide into a connecter that was used with other fan. It comes with two fan covers which is usually extra. I wish it came with the connection that would plug into connection on fan
Review: It's a server fan, not a normal desktop PC fan. - I bought this as a cheap fan to pair with my Noctua as my motherboard takes four-pin connector and with the exception of that Noctua all I have are 3-pin 80mm fans. The Noctua came with some adaptors, including a splitter and noise reducer. When I first fired this baby up when it was connected to the splitter with my Noctua, it was louder than a jet engine. I ended up hooking the noise reducer between it and the splitter and it quieted right down. Even with the noise reducer, it has great airflow. It was after I set it up that I went back to the product page to realize it's a server fan. Explained the noise and the fact it was cheap. It's actually a good fan, it was my fault for not paying attention about it being more for servers than normal desktop PCs. So yeah, five stars due it it's ability to keep my PC cool.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you vary the voltage and what is minimum range?**
A: Operating Voltage Range：7-13.5V

**Q: Can I power this by 12V on the red and black wires without the pwn and fg signals?**
A: Work out great.

**Q: What is the minimum rpm that can be set via pwm? description only lists maximum rpm.**
A: the minimum rpm that can be set via pwm is： 700RPM , this fan have big air flow at full speed (72.6CFM / 5500RPM ), you can adjustable fan speed to achieve desired noise level .

**Q: I'm trying to figure out what power supply to buy for this. What's the max amps I can use for a power supply?**
A: The unit at full speed pulls about .7 amps. My motherboard is capable of 1 amp on each fan header but I did have to get an ATX splitter with a sensor cable that goes to my MB as I ran out of fan headers to use and didn't want to use a basic splitter because each fan wouldn't receive the entire amperage they need. Not that I run them at 100% usually they are running between 30-60% but just in case I need them to operate at full speed they will. I just want the ability to if needed but if you had to use a basic splitter cord on a 1 amp header they would still run at about 70%. The motherboard still gets sensor data from one of the fans though so at least I don't have a dead sensor and I always run the two fans together at the same speed anyways. They run at 12 volts so if you're not plugging them into a motherboard I would find an adapter that would do 12 volts at 1 amp so you know that you're covered well. You can use an adapter that puts out more than 1 amp it will only use what it needs. If connecting directly to a power only you just need the red and black wires connected. You might be able to find an 80mm fan with an AC adapter I see some of them on here with them. The other two wires are used for computer fan header use and can be discarded if you aren't using them with a motherboard. These fans are extremely loud at full speed so you might want to end up using a 9 volt or 5 volt adapter anyways so they aren't at full speed. They put out a ton of air probably the strongest 80mm fans available but they also get quite loud. I have 4 in my computer case and if I tell my motherboard to run them at full speed it sounds like my computer is about to take off and fly. That was the point of me getting these fans was to make sure if my computer needed it that it could turn up the airflow as much as it wants. I'm actually using a very large ATX case but it's old school and can only take this size fan so I have two in the front and two in the back. I use the motherboard to control the speed and usually keep them at about 30% in normal use. If I'm heavily using my computer they might go up to 50-60%.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not the quietest fan
*by F***5 on November 30, 2025*

Noise at full tilt is a bit droney. At lower speeds it's not as bad as the fan I replaced. I did not use this in a computer application. I used this as a fan for a electronics device that needed a good amount of air flow. I tried in of those quiet fans and altho it was quiet it did not move enough air. So I took this fan and put a 50 ohm resistor in series to slow it down a bit. Noise was acceptable and still moved enough air. So it's not a bad fan. I just had a difficult criteria to meet using this fan but found an acceptable solution.
