I had been wanting to replace them for a few years now. I was tired of my procrastination and finally replaced both. Both were likely house originals, likely 40+ years old. One that wasn't working was crumbling from corrosion as I unscrewed it and pulling it out. These Leviton replacements are really nice. I generally do not like tamper resistant outlets because I have to fight with them to plug anything in, generally a big nuisance. Maybe that's me and not the outlet. However, these are tamper resistant and not a problem to use, even for me. That makes me happy.
