Review: Massive upgrade from failed stock unit. - Don’t listen to reviews of those who had trouble installing the axle mount bracket, if you get all screws loosely installed then torque them down it’s too easy. Took about 20 minutes with simple hand tools. I upgraded from a 100k mile worn factory unit so my experience may vary from yours, but this was night and day difference. After install the steering felt tighter, and more responsive. I feel like I was more in control of the jeep.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this help the loose steering on a gladiator?**
A: I have one on my JTR, and it will definitely help stiffen up the steering tremendously,  and help improve the drivability and handling, but it it is not a cure-all.  I’m thinking about adding the Synergy brace to mine, as well, to really lock down everything 100%.

**Q: does this have the tie rod clamp as shown in picture?**
A: The one I received did not have the tie rod clamp...only included the bracket to replace the stock connector bracket that is shown in the other pictures.

**Q: Does this come with the relocation bolt?**
A: No It doesn't come with a relocation bracket and you are going to have to to check to make sure you get the right BOLT for it from mopar. On newer models it requires a different bolt. This one is supposed to go were your current steering stablizer goes. I believe you can get one with a relocation bracket.

**Q: Can the clamp to tie rod be interchangeable? Can it purchased separately?**
A: The tie-rod clamp is purchased separately if you want to mount it that way.  The standard axle mount that comes with it works very well.

This is a great upgrade to a Gladiator. That said, you need to see what your truck's stock stabilizer bolt looks like. Mopar/FCA/JEEP made a mid year change to an elongated/from an elongated carriage bolt. The stabilizer installed on the elongated jeeps has a larger diameter bolt hole to accomodate the bolt. The shorter carriage bolt only engages in the mounting bracket, so the stabilizer bolt hole is smaller. This Fox TS unit is not compatible with the elongated neck bolt. You can order the different bolt from various sources. Just plan for that, if it applies to you. It is a real easy check, just unbolt the current stabilizer on the wheel side, youll see the carriage bolt. If yours is elongated, like mine was, then order the bolt. Took two weeks to get it. The feel of the steering is not dramatically different on road. Off road, it is much smoother.
