Perspectives expressed are not heavy-handed (as many channeled books tend to be) but are offered in a friendly, open-minded tone. In its 25 chapters, it manages to cover several practical aspects of daily life with some emphasis on children/young adults especially geared towards parents. Even though I'm not one, the book was still useful.Although the title refers to encodements and DNA, it's nothing as 'complicated' nor is it typical new-age stuff (no visualizations, affirmations, etc). Just ways to see things in a different way or to open one's mind. Format is question-answer from all her channeled sessions and a sense of humour is evident to help keep the mood fairly light. Mostly, it resonated with my current views and attitudes.Personally, I don't care whether the book is channeled or not - the material just needs to make sense and apply to real life. Another imp. criteria for me was that the author also practices as a psychotherapist. In general, I've found people, who also lead regular, normal, everyday lives as the rest of us do, make far better channels. Otherwise what comes through tends be woo-woo or escapism. The author also shares several in-depth articles on this subject on her website (Amma, the Divine Mother) - after reading them + a Google book preview, I bought it as an e-book. This is probably one of the most important books I have read. Working with the encodement technicians is so easy. Anyone can do it. This book is full of so much information from Amma, the entity Cathy Chapman channels. It is a natural segue from the Kryon books. It gives a clear instructions on how to change your encodements and your DNA and it helps you realize why your encodements are the way they are and what the consequences are of changing them. I discovered Cathy's work in the Sedona Journal of Emergence wherein her article followed one by Lee Carroll on Kryon talking about how to talk to your cells. This encodement work covers health outcomes, relationships, wealth, professions, best locations to live, attitudes we carry about ourselves, past and future healing. It's universal in application.
