I connect these vinyl corrugated pieces together with the pins they come with to form whatever circumference I need for the small roses or large ones. They also work well to protect hydrangeas. I then fill them with straw, or oak leaves, or wood chips, or soil. In spring they can be unsnapped , laid flat for storage. I have had no problems with them and recommend them for anyone who gardens with tender perennials.
