These folding camp stools work great for travel/hiking. They take about 20 secs to set up and 30 sec to put away. They are very compact and lightweight. They will fit in a backpack, about the size of a medium sized umbrella.They are not the most comfortable chairs. People with bigger rears may feel pressure from the frame. They are a couple inches shorter than regular seating height, so some people may find it difficult to get up after sitting on it. Quality is average. Not sure how long they will last.I think these are great alternatives as a just in case chair when traveling, standing in lines, gardening, waiting at the airport, etc. I find these better than the tripods chairs or there.
