This belt solved the problem of being too loose or too tight. The durable flexibility of the woven material is aesthetically pleasing and well crafted. The old leather belts with the pre-formed holes just never seemed to be right for me. Too tight or too loose was an issue for me.Yes, I tried the braided leather belts that fasten anywhere on the belt, and yes, I could get them to fit properly but they were just uncomfortable after a couple of hours worn. I found them to leave painful pinches and marks after a days use. I can't tell that I am wearing this belt. It holds the jeans in place without having to pull them up from time to time. That is the main purpose of a belt. It serves the purpose and looks good as well.
