The Killer, disguised in a costume stolen from Spencer's Gifts, attempts to kill off all the popular kids at Bulemia Falls High School. Since the costume was stolen under his watch, mall cop Doughy appoints himself to the case. He is joined on the stakeout by Hagitha Utslay, a beautiful but conniving V-Jay from the music cable network Empty-V. Doughy and Hagitha watch as five of the most beautiful and popular kids at the school ineptly try to avoid being butchered. Each of them has received a mysterious note from the desk of The Killer, and each knows he or she could be next. It's extremely funny that spoofs Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer! When The Killer kills Screw Frombehind, everyone becomes weary. The next day at Bulimia Falls High School, Dawson enrolls and gets picked on because he's the new kid. He soon becomes friends with Slab, Bonner, Martina, and Barbara. They run into Hagitha Utslay, the annoying news reporter. Doughy, a mall cop and Barbara's brother hangs out with Hagitha the whole day, trying to find the killer. They all receive death threats from The Killer. During school, The Killer stalks each one of them in a hilarious way. Since it's Friday the 13th and HALLOWEEN on the same day, they all decide to go to an abandoned house with no adult supervision. During the night, hilarious situations ensue, like a Pop-up Video/Scooby-Doo style chase scene. I like the classic style horror movies (as well as classic style comedies). But this is just priceless. It's done with finesse. The acting is solid, the writing strong, and the laughs very real. I hesitated to watch it the first time because most modern horror films (and their parodies) are full of bad lighting, ad libbed shrieks and other unnecessary noises and gestures, and are otherwise just annoying. This, however, is clever and actually funny.
