First off. We get the bag and it shows a sofa so I open and yes it was for a futon but I almost returned thinking I got the wrong thing.Second: no directions at all for the straps.Third I measured but this thing is suuuuuper long for an average futonFourth if I had time to return it I would. We just got the futon and put it together today. Installation instructions were easy to understand. It is sewn together with two pieces of soft, lightweight material in a quilted pattern, but it is not padded so it is not thick. The cover has attracted my cat’s attention. She now sleeps on the futon instead of my bed. She likes it so it belongs to her!I have found no claw marks on my pleather cover to date, therefore, it is functional. I guess it’s described as premium because it works? Cat hair vacuums off easily; It is machine washable in cold water and tumble dried on cool heat. It comes out wrinkle free and renewed.
