Given that it's better in quality (and in quantity) than the fast food I might easily buy on the way to the trailhead, I'd say these are even pretty decent value as pre-packaged backpacking meals go. The sauce thickened well at the 25 minute mark. If this was a couple bucks cheaper I would be inclined to stock up on these. I think Mountain House is a better value and the flavor is a pretty close runner up to Peak.
