She thought her tabletop combination CD, Radio, Turntable & Cassette retro Victrola didn't work. It turns out it did. She just wasn't able to power it up and select the playing mode due the unit being placed in a hard to reach corner. When she saw this new boombox she loved the size as it is easily portible. However the controls especially the power switch are difficult to see and find, it is not the most user friendly and the sound is ok for a boombox.
