I bought 4 of them for supplimental lighting. They're perfect for that or for starting seeds or clones. Not much else. The spectrum seems to be real good though. **Q: Where can i get replacement chips? I got mine about a week ago and already have loghts out.** A: The panels have 2 modes. If some lights are out, try disconnecting the power and plug back in. If that doesn’t work, contact the seller about a replacement unit. **Q: Can this light be used outdoor under plastic tunnel for winter garden? Is it rated for outdoor use?** A: From its construction, it is not rated for being in the elements, however if the light and any wiring is not exposed to direct rain or snow, ie if all components are enclosed, I see no issue using this device outside. Assuming your plastic tunnel is not subject to being blown away by wind and is well anchored, then I would not expect a problem. I added timer to control power supply. also, installed two T-12 sun-light tubes to cover some area since light intensity of this light box'es is not enough. (I hung units about 6.5ft from floor due to my plants are 3~5 ft high.It works so far for past winter (2019).Like it's energy saving, but needing to install more units.
