## Questions & Answers

**Q: $10 really?? How much under a buck does it cost to manufacture in China?**
A: Go make your own cap and stop whining. Labor is free when you do it yourself. I have this cap and like it. $10 is pocket change anyway for the last decade.

**Q: I don't understand what this product is for? The part it's covering is just an empty compartment.**
A: I find this product essential for traveling with the AeroPress, as it makes it possible to store my filters, and/or coffee beans, in the empty compartment. I love it!

**Q: Does this require filters or is there one built in?**
A: This is just a cap that goes on the end of the press. It allows you to store coffee in the hollow handle (for taking the press on the go - camping / hiking). You can couple this with the stainless steel filter that Amazon also sells and you have an awesome combo (I speak from experience). Here's the filter: http://www.amazon.com/Able-Brewing-DISK-AeroPress-Espresso/dp/B00E58P7ME/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1409078814&sr=8-2&keywords=aeropress+steel+filter

**Q: Is there a way to purchase the tote bag for traveling?**
A: I'm such a nut for good coffee that I always travel with my Aeropress. I found the nylon bag it came with to be overly large, sloppy and not all that useful with only having the one big compartment. The solution I found was this bag from the Container Store: https://www.containerstore.com/s/eagle-creek-black-pack-it-quicktrip/d?productId=10037140&q=eagle%20creek

I can store filters in the side pocket and the Aeropress plus a bag of ground coffee in the main compartment, voila!

    It works, quality is good

The cap is easy to apply, doesn't fall off, and turns the plunger into a useful storage space. It also makes it more comfortable to push the plunger down. If you don't mind the price, it does what it's supposed to do and seems durable.

    Good product

This is a perfect fit, and feels good to press with. Also turns your plunger into a storage compartment for filters. Not sure how great it is for travel, though, since it prevents you from putting your stirrer and scoop in there...

Great for making the Aeropress portable

I don't know why you'd need a "brewing grip", you should buy this for the "travel cap" function. I store grounds in the handle of my Aeropress. I keep it in my backpack and brew my own coffee on campus instead of paying out the nose at an on-campus coffee shop. The cap doesn't feel like it's extremely tight, and yet, it has survived considerable jostling in a backpack full of stuff without spilling, even when I commute by bike or train. This is definitely a viable option to make the Aeropress more portable without having to worry about getting coffee grounds in all your stuff. The scoop included in the Aeropress will not fit in the handle, you'll have to get some sort of different scoop that will fit in the narrow opening of the handle to retrieve your grounds. It holds enough grounds for about 4 shots of espresso (at least how I make it). If your Aeropress didn't come with some sort of travel bag like mine did, I'd recommend getting that as well if you want to be portable, along with a reusable stainless steel filter so you don't have to carry paper ones. With all that, the Aeropress is a great portable coffee making solution. I recommend this cap to anyone looking to use the Aeropress for that purpose.
