Review: Worth it!!!! - I researched true wireless earbuds thoroughly before deciding on which pair to buy. It was between Apple AirPods and these, being they are the most two compared models on the majority of reviews, as techies say these are the two best models out on the market right now. I was surprised to find this certified refurbished pair available on desertcart but excited to potentially be able to save $50 if backed by the manufacturer themselves. I was able to confirm that desertcart is verified resaler of Jabra and that Jabra was responsible for certifying this refurbished pair, they even back them with an 180 day warranty, a full 6 months as compared to the 1 year when buying new. That is a good deal, longer than many other competitors offer on their refurbished products. Tech review companies do recommend buying some electronics refurbished if they meet these types of conditions, so I knew I was buying from a verified, confident and trusted source. Took them out of the package, downloaded it’s corresponding app, updated the firmware and they basically hooked themselves up to my devices, both my iPad and my iPhone, it just couldn’t have been easier. I’ve used them for 24 hours and I can not say one bad thing about their working order, they sound even better than I expected and very easy to navigate their usage and controls. Audio and phone calls equally sound great! The only slight critique I could offer is that they are a bit big for my ears, but that just may be because of my petite stature. They annoy the back end of my ear where the cartilage is, however they fit comfortably in the ear canal themselves. I do believe it’s simply because I just have very small ears, not really a design flaw per say. If I’m sitting still I can’t adjust them to sit more upwards as not to hit that cartilage, to give my ears a bit of a break. But if I get up to walk I must fit them back snuggly in my ears as not to have them fall out. So that does give my ears a chance to rest and alleviate that pressure. It’s something that I am willing to live with as I can not believe how well these work, with no cord whatsoever. I was able to go up to the second floor of my home, in and out of every room, even with a door closed I had absolutely no interference or distortion in the audio. There is a slight lag in video, but again, all true wireless earbuds on the market have that same issue. I was also surpised at how long the battery life is, they aren’t exaggerating when they say 5 hours. I placed them back in their case to charge overnight and have been using them on and off, a few songs and a few phone calls since 9am, it’s now 12:30, and it’s only run the battery down about 15%. I’m really pleasantly surprised and really very pleased with this purchase!!
Review: Excellent Refurbished Product - OK, so they call it "renewed" now. It has long been my opinion, formed after searching thousands of 1-star reviews, that a large majority of bad reviews are caused by user problems rather than problems with the product itself. This goes double for electronics. In keeping with that opinion, that means that a large number of returns are probably not actually for defects. This would mean that most of the renewed products are simply returns that get tested and resold. So, after searching for the right pair of earbuds and returning two pair of the others, I saw and ordered these renewed Jabra buds for nearly fifty bucks off the price of new ones. The ones I returned, $45 Juckbo and $130 Cambridge Audio, worked perfectly. But the sound was what I couldn't take. The treble on both was screechy and even painful. I had been using a pair of $45 "Thor Shocking True Wireless" for over three years. I didn't realize how good the sound was on those until I tried to replace them. I lost one of the buds or I would still be using them. But now to the Jabra. I have been using them for a couple of weeks with no problems. The equalizer in the Jabra app makes all the difference in the world for sound quality. I was able to adjust all aspects of the sound to my liking. Separation is great and the sound has that deep quality that brings out all the instruments. YOU MUST GET A GOOD SEAL WITHIN THE EAR TO GET FULL SOUND! That's one reason I have never liked the silicone tips on earbuds. These were comfortable enough, and sealed well, but I ordered the Comply foam tips specially-made to fit Jabra, and I like those better. And, yes, they fit into the charging case. These buds have operated flawlessly. Pairing was simple the first time and they connect immediately when taken from the case. I have only experienced a very few "dropouts" of the sound and they only last a fraction of a second. All the buttons do what they are supposed to do. I have only used them for music when cycling or working around the house, but I have received one phone call. Though I have no details, the call went smoothly. Of course, I have no idea about long-term reliability, but they seem well-made. Now, on to some little things that I simply don't like or seem strange. First of all, this is a renewed product. What I received was two earbuds, a charging case and cord and three extra tips. Not three pair, three period. It came with the mediums installed on the buds and they included a pair of large and one odd tip. I had to change to the large. But as I said earlier, I was already planning to replace the tips, so this was not a problem for me. There was no instruction manual included. This could have been a problem, but the manual is easy to find on-line, plus you can access it from the app. There are a LOT of functions available on the buds, but it will take some time to learn them all and get proficient pressing the tiny buttons. If you want to use only one bud, as I do when cycling, you can only use the right one. The music plays in mono while listening to only the right, so you don't lose half the sound, but you DO lose the functionality of the left bud. The music continues in mono until you remove the left bud from the case and it gets close enough to the right bud to pair with it. Then it switches to full stereo. That brings me to the case. It's a real bitc* to open! This may be the reason my pair was returned to be renewed. You have to REALLY squeeze the top of the case to unlatch it. But it seems to be getting easier the more I do it. The lights for the buds to indicate charge level, etc. only flash briefly and sometimes I can't tell if they are actually charging, but they always have been charging so far. The top of the case serves to seat the buds firmly against the charging contacts, so you can't just leave the top open. The case is rounded on the bottom, so it's not made to stand up. If you lay it down with the top open, the buds simply roll out. The hear-through feature works and can be adjusted in the app, but I have found that the max-amount of hear-through is the only setting that is enough to matter. But it DOES work! The shape of these buds is sleek, and they don't poke out too far, but this same shape makes them a bit difficult to hold in two fingers. There aren't any flat surfaces for gripping or for just setting one of them down. They tend to roll rather than stand. But again, this is something I will adapt to. So, all-in-all, these are great buds with great sound. Let's face it: If you are listening to streaming music, you're not getting the greatest sound to start with. NO product can make audiophile sound from a 32 kbps internet radio stream. Higher bit-rate streaming services like Napster/Rhapsody are better, but you are still getting an MP3-like stream. But the sound and separation of these buds are as good or better (thanks to the equalizer and the app) as any I have tried, including the horse-collar LG's I used long ago. I have tried here to detail the little things that did not detract from my experience in case they may distract from yours. I really think these would be a good purchase for a large majority of users. Happy Listening!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful HearThrough, Music quality average
*by K***D on April 3, 2019*

A year ago I purchased a true wireless Tranya Sports Wireless Earbuds. The had a great sound but to hear anyone talking to me required at least one bud be pulled out. Over the weekend, this practice lead to lose the primary bud in Target, leading me to purchase again. I remembered reading about these Jabra buds back then and thinking they really had the features I wanted but I would not pay $169 for them. Then I stumbled on these refurbs for less. I purchased them on Sunday and was told delivery would be Thursday. To my surprise, they arrived Monday morning. During lunch, after downloading the app, I fired them up and started some music. I was really bummed that the sound was very tinny, like a bad AM radio. I installed the firmware upgrade hoping it would make it sound better. I messed with the equalizer in the app but so far, nothing helped to reproduce the bass sounds I got in the Tranya set. After work, I took more time with them and got a pretty decent sound from them but still not as much low end as I would have liked. I turned my attention to the other features, mainly HearThrough. This I found to be great. Out of the bag, they were set up so that a double click of the right ear bud would enable HearThrough though in my environment, I didn't really notice it was on because the music continued to play. I found a setting in the app that would pause music when I entered HearThrough from the app or from the double tap on right bud. Now I was happy. I could communicate with those around me almost as if I did not have the buds in my ear. This sold me on the unit. I found if I pushed the buds a little deeper in my ear bass improved some. Summary: 1. Packaging: plastic bad in envelope. Scared me at first figuring the contents could be easily damaged. I worried for nothing. The recharging case they arrived in is like Fort Knox. Its also about as hard to open. I'm getting the hand of it now. I do miss the magnetic pull of the Tranya set. Pulling the buds out is very easy and worries me slightly that my clumsy nature could lead to a loss. 2. Bluetooth: It paired quickly and easily to my iPhone 3. Chargin the buds or the case seems pretty straightforward 4. Sound quality: pretty average 5. HearThrough: the single greatest thing about these and it works beautifully. I believe I'll be very happy with these and will edit the review if something changes. I gave a four start rating because of the sound quality. Everything else is rock solid and feels dependable.
