The setup is to attach the Barrel Adaptor to the end of a threaded barrel, the same way as a compensatory or suppressor is attached. The current Wasp model is designed for use on a 9mm pistol. Loading, the Baton, it slides over the barrel adaptor. There is an O-ring molded into the Baton, which holds the Baton in place. The pistol is loaded with standard ammunition. When the pistol is fired, the bullet is captured by the Baton, and the Baton is launched downrange to the target. The Effective range is up to 25 feet. As long as the Glock 19 and FN 509 thread design matches the Barrel Adaptor standard of 1/2 x 28 TPI, both should operate as above. Glock 9mm factory threads are metric and will not fit this introductory model. Firm knowledge of firearm safety is required. **Q: What guns does this work on?** A: The WASP Weapon is designed for use with any 9mm firearm equipped with a ½” x 28 threaded barrel. The thought of accidentally shooting someone who doesn’t really pose a threat freaked me out, and now I keep this wasp on my nightstand pistol so the next intruder will get something closer to a punch in the face before the second shot, which is lead in the face. ### ⭐ Do not use for Defense as it still Constitutes using Deadly Force *by F***R on January 30, 2021* In, literally, every part of the US, pulling a gun on someone constitutes the use of deadly force. It is only legal if justified. This item screams "use me before you think you need a gun or don't want to hurt the attacker" but to use this product, you must also use a gun. So you are using deadly force when you don't think it is justified or you are trying to minimize force used against someone but you're using the maximum force in the eyes of the law. You never want to be on the stand saying that you totally though you were about to die so that is why you used a giant Nerf bullet from a real gun.This is basically a "go to jail" item. Even when used as intended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, unfortunately only on 1 intruder of the 2 *by I***F on May 21, 2020* This is a great product. It worked as advertised. I had 2 intruders break into my home in the early morning hours. Unfortunately the WASP was only able to save 1 of them. My first shot was with it and hitting him in the forehead knocked him unconscious. The second guy unfortunately was very high on Meth and it took 6 shots to keep him down. By the time the police arrived I had the first intruder in cuffs and he was still unconscious.
