I've shot 300 BLK from 100 yards, as well as 9mm from about 15 yards out of a pistol and 25 yards from a carbine. Some folks have reported pitting and damage, but muzzle velocities at close and unsafe distances absolutely will wreck this thing. That said, train smart and be logical with your target placement.
