You could probably just use a moist cotton wool pad or a cucumber slice or something. So in fact most under eye patches won't make a huge difference if you have a chronic eye bag situation, but I have seen minor reduction with some more expensive brands (Skyn, for example). Additionally, each pair is made of the sort of plastic that bath pearls used to be made out of, and comes in a plastic tray which is wrapped in foil, so this is not something I will purchase again because there is too much single-use packaging for me to feel comfortable buying.
