Since we have moved, we haven’t been able to find fresh nopales in the stores at we used to eat them almost weekly.They arrived already spoiling. They weren’t fresh! When we cooked them, (we had to wait a couple days) so much of the rotten part had to be cut off and all the nodes had to be trimmed because they had turned black.
