He is so content in this one, and I don’t feel like he’s going to fall out like with some other types. Right now he is 5 months old, 17 pounds and it’s the perfect stage for this carrier. It felt very secure and comfortable to wear. I was able to find instructions for putting this on on the Kyte website as well as videos on their Instagram to make sure I was doing it correctly. It does not come with instructions. I absolutely love the Redwood color! The model images look like it’s a blush/coral color. It’s more of a dark dusty pink. The image of it in the packaging is more realistic. It’s also not as soft as I was expecting and if it had been something I purchased in person, I may have passed on it. But it’s thin which will be nice in July, and light and may get a little softer in the wash. My 22 pound 10 month old is a little uncomfortable in it, but I got it for our daughter on the way, so I’m anticipating it’ll be great for her.As for functionality and ease, it’s a little easier than a wrap. There’s still a lot of adjusting, at least with a wiggly 10 month old. I am much more skilled with a wrap so I’m willing to practice and I think it’ll get easier. They are so buttery soft and easy to thread straight out of the box. Kyte really thought of everything when making this sling. It’s a little longer than most so it can fit lots of body types and it has a POCKET. Yes, a pocket. Actually two pockets. A larger one with a little one inside of it that perfectly holds my iPhone X. I can literally leave the house with just my baby and ring sling and everything else I need fits in the pocket.
