That is when I decided to go with liquid poison. I used metal feeder bases available on desertcart and glass mason jars that I had. Mixed up the poison per directions 1 quart water and the poison. I separated the quart into two drinkers and marked the jar to monitor levels. Everyday I could see a change in level and by the 6th day I saw my rat friend Mr. Jingles just sitting there not trying to run. I took a fishing net to capture it and dispatched it humanly. This stuff works and will keep working as rats and mice need water like everything else. As long as you follow the instructions taking care not to allow non-targeted animals to drink the poison or get to the rodent after it’s dead you will have success without unintended casualties.
