The seller actively helped me solve the problem, just need to ensure that the connected USB line is the original phone's. Another surprise to me is that you can operate the music and use the map in the same interface. He said the wiring was a bit weird but he got it figured out. The dimensions are tight so you would have to check on your car to see if it's flush with the rest of your trim.Installed on a 2007 Yaris Hatchback with some leftover space. Not the cleanest looking fit job but I just filled the empty space with black craft foam. Looks good. Carplay works perfectly too. It sometimes has issues reading my phone but a quick unplug and plug fixes any issues most of the time. I am using the Apple original cable for connecting.I wish the volume display thing wasn't in the center of the screen. It would be nicer if the volume screen was at the bottom or something and not accidentally clickable when changing the volume. Not a deal-breaker since I just have to wait an extra couple of seconds for the volume indicator to go away.All in all, a great little device. Much cheaper than other ones on the market.
