I got a medium and it was absolutely perfect. The fabric is not the softest but it was comfortable overall. However, disaster struck. After wearing it for a day, my very overactive sweat glands caused quite the pit stains on this dress. No big deal, I thought to myself. I took it off and hand washed the armpit area of the dress (in cool water) and let it air dry. Let me repeat that: hand washed, cool water, air dried. IT SHRANK. The areas I washed (the armpits, mostly) shrank so bad that it actually hurt to wear and I was worried about ripping when I tried to pull it off. One (partial) washing and it is unwearable and I am SO disappointed! The fabric does not move and has no forgiveness. If you buy this dress, factor in the shrinkage before you purchase so that you have room to move!...But on a plus side, it was absolutely adorable. If I am able to return, I will likely purchase the next size up so that it will shrink to the proper size so that I can wear it again. The material is so lovely....a denim-look rayon.I’ve tried several, and really love this one.Well made. Beautiful trim.
