Very much enough brightness, too brightness on max. Not sure on battery life yet but did use it for two hours straight and works awesome ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Remote will turn on multiples if you have them *by B***. on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on December 2, 2022* I own 3 of these and use them for camping. Absolutely love them! Something to note, the remotes are not programmed to one light, they are on the same channel so to speak. Aka if you have multiple lights set up, you can turn them all on or off with any of the remotes at the same time. Or at least the 3 I have do it. Works out for me. The lights last a long time on high brightness setting. I ran one for something like 8 hours straight on my last camping trip and the battery indicator said I still had half battery life remaining. The diffusing lense does a good job and it doesn't feel annoying like some single point lights are. Second, I like to make sure that I have want I β€œneed” to be comfortable. We tent camp in β€œrustic” no electricity sites in the Smokies for a week at a time, so I bring a ton of gear. I am that one campsite that random people stop by and either ask about my set-up or where I get everything. We put a pop-up canopy over our picnic table and lighting is always an issue. I have some very bright lanterns that attract all kinds of flying insects. Looking to change that up this year, I was looking for something with a yellow or amber light with a remote control, since I wanted to hang it from the top of the canopy. This was a really great product for what I was looking for. The remote does have a learning curve, so follow the directions and play around with it before you need to actually use it. I also found that I either needed to be a certain distance or aim in a slightly different direction, but there again, I consider that just learning how to best use it. Also, make sure that you leave the light on at the actual unit for the remote to work, but I think the directions state that. While it didn’t completely eliminate the bugs, it cut them down by about 99.5%. We still had 2-3 around the light when it was on with the low white/yellow (not a true yellow), but considering my other lanterns while attract a few hundred bugs, this was a win!!
