    good Monsters Inc reader, does not follow movie storyline

This is a good Monsters Inc. book. The words and sentences seem appropriate for a level 2 reader.The storyline in this book does not match the movie. It starts out the same but has an alternate ending. My five year old doesn't seem to mind and likes reading it.

My son is crazy about anything to do with Monsters, Inc, or Monsters University, and this book was no exception. We ordered it after he read "Scaring Lessons".  The artwork is less photorealistic than the other Monsters books (the cover art is an accurate representation of the art inside), but the story is charming. It deviates from the storyline of the movie, but doesn't contradict it; it could easily have been the story of a deleted scene.
