I have frequent issues with rat snakes that are typically about 5 to 6 feet long -- no kidding. I have a tremendous fear and anxiety about these demons, so I am vigilant in looking for them and evidence of them. This product has worked better than another competitor's that I tried - Snake A Way. It was not a scientific, controlled test -- but I saw snakes after that product was placed within days.These are supposed to be beneficial snakes for rat control, etc but now that one has come into my home - I have to discourage them or move to Ireland. It has been much cheaper to buy this product.I will post if I have an update on it in the future. As with most products like this, you do need to reapply and apply as directed.My biggest gripe is the packaging. I have spread this one in front of my garage door, side doors and all around my back fencing. It's been two months and I have not seen the snakes around. Of course it is the middle of winter - but we do live in Florida so I'm assuming they are still active.
